Innovation in Interchange Design

Houston Traffic Jam circa 1962

Great photo from US 59 near Hazard Street towards downtown Houston taken in 1962.  I particularly like the small car left-of-center that has no doors.  Guessing you get in front the front with the engine in rear.   Nice to at least know our predecessors struggled with traffic and delay just like the rest of us.
