While there are clearly more enjoyable things that one could do for 6 minutes, this is a very well done video mapping the Universe that is worth a watch. Remind me how small I am, even with all the turkey I ate at Thanksgiving. Go full screen for best effect.

I was describing this exact idea to a coworker the other day. The Washing Wave a Jitney-like service that provides transportation up and down the Washington Avenue Corridor (though I had proposed including connections to Lower Westheimer). Will be very interested to see how this service does as I think it is very much in need. My big fear was whether you would have to clean up D-Bag...

One of the biggest energy savings that a municipality can capture is the switch to high efficiency LEDs on traffic signals and other lighting that is on for extended periods of time. We are always interested though, in the new challenges occur with these seemingly “no brainer” ideas. As the video below shows, high efficiency signal displays don’t throw off all the excess...
