Team TEI – UNITE!

I’m officially no longer the only traffic engineer in Houston biking to work.

This morning, my friend and colleague Brad Eaves decided to join the exclusive bike-to-work club. He apparently experienced that bizarre desire to throw on skin-tight spandex that strikes us all from time to time (come on, admit it). Or perhaps he simply realized that it was a beautiful spring morning in Houston and that sometimes there are really just no good excuses not to bike to work. Whatever the reason, kudos Brad! By hopping on your Trek and pedaling 19 minutes to work (lucky dog), you’re not only getting to enjoy this great weather, but you’re also making a small but indisputable contribution to cleaning up our air and reducing our imports of foreign oil. You’re also helping to dispel the myth that Houstonians can’t and won’t ever leave their cars at home. For that, I’m pleased to present you the First Annual Outstanding Math Student Award. (Sorry, they were out of Live Strong trophies). Congratulations!

  1. Brad Eaves says:

Thanks, Ian. I would have biked Tuesday as well, but the weather did not cooperate.
